Entering its 35th year, Personal Group has a history of protecting the working backbone of the UK, including bus drivers, factory workers and care support staff. Personal Group launched its employee benefits app, Hapi, in 2017 giving employees easy access to their benefits and discounts anytime, all in one place.
Starting immediately, Milk & Honey PR, which specialises in managing and nurturing reputations for ambitious growth companies, will be responsible for media relations and social media activity amongst two key audiences; HR decision makers and workers on modest incomes. The full brief includes all external communication from brand identity to reputation, to help elevate the company’s unique offering.
The team will be led by managing partner, Kirsty Leighton.
Deborah Frost, CEO at Personal Group, says, “Feeling protected inside and outside the workplace needs to be prioritised for every British worker, not just the few. By making our solutions straightforward and accessible we have the ability to connect with a group that can be hard to reach due to work shifts or being on the road. This means, if bad things happen, they know they can lean on us.
“As soon as we met Kirsty and the team at Milk & Honey PR, we could see they are passionate about supporting companies that want to make a real difference. We’re looking forward to joining forces as we continue to focus on value for our clients and customers in an increasingly digital world.”
Kirsty Leighton, managing partner at Milk & Honey PR, adds, “Our role within Personal Group is going to be extremely varied, which makes it all the more exciting. Their benefits offering, which spans mental, financial, social and physical wellbeing, offers a huge storytelling opportunity. Becoming one of the first B-Corp certified PR agencies in the UK, we are thrilled to be working with a company that is committed to making such a positive social impact.”
Hudson Sandler will continue to support on the financial PR account.
